Check out the post on OSINT and VMs. Once you have this setup, you will be able to start using various OSINT Tools and conduct investigations and research in a safe environment. It is worth taking your time to set this up so you can use the system consistently and know that you, your data/evidence, and your client are relatively safe. I say relatively because there are further measures you can take, which we will cover later. You will make mistakes and get frustrated during the setup procedure.
